Bullet Journal: October to November

If you haven’t heard of the bullet journal, I highly recommend you checking it out first! If you’ve been frustrated with planners or wanted a planner that incorporates all facets of your life, then the bullet journal is your answer!

Let’s take a look at what my layout for October looked like, and a sneak peek of my November layout!

I’m about 3-4 months in with my bullet journal, and I am still going strong! I feel the pressure to make it look “pretty” from time to time, but I need to remember that sometimes, simple is the best. In October, I tried a different weekly layout where I created boxes. I’m not sure if I liked it better. Oh, and say hello to our cat, Aslan. πŸ™‚

Something different I did in October was to add a second page for gratitudes, and I’m so glad I did! Two pages allows me to write at least two lines for each day of the month. I kept my gratitude page simple with a list.

November’s layout isn’t quite done, but I like what I have so far.

As you can see, I’ve done away with the boxes layout from October, and switched back to the list view. I think I like this better because it’s easier for my eyes to follow. I also like having the left and right sidebars reserved.

If you’re a perfectionist like me, making every month a different kind of layout can drive you insane! But it’s actually important that you try different layouts. Only through the trial and error will you find what features work/don’t work for you.

What do your November layouts look like? If you’re not sure where to start, check out what essentials you might need when it comes to the bullet journal!
