Bible Writing Plan: April 2017

April BWP header

Ever since I started this blog back in November 2016, I’ve been doing these monthly Bible Writing Plans. And with each one, I’ve been so inspired in different ways. I still believe in sticking to a certain book of the Bible, or progressing chronologically so that we don’t take verses out of context. So this month, we will be focusing on just one chapter in the book of Psalm.

Psalm 119 is an acrostic psalm that contains 22 sections. Each section contains eight verses. Each verse within a section starts with a letter from the Hebrew alphabet.

There are many verses in this chapter that are often quoted. But the overall message, I believe, is that God’s Word is unchanging, everlasting, and all-sufficient. God has been teaching more and more lately how precious His Word is, and how everything I need to or want to know about Him can be found in the Bible. If only I take the time to read it!

So this month, join me in really getting deep in God’s Word, with the ultimate desire to know Him more!
