Song of the Month: September

Ever feel like you’re at the breaking point? Where darkness is enveloping you, and all you can see is one thin ray of light? Most of us have experienced great sorrow through the loss of a loved one, unemployment, and other hard times. This song was a great comfort to me when it was released. It reminds me that it’s okay to be in a place where you feel lost and helpless. Because we were made to depend on our great God. Instead of leaning on our own strength and salvation, look to His almighty strength and assured salvation.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
